Objective
The Objective of the Women Cell is to bring overall development of women in all spheres of their life especiallyto safeguard the rights of female students, faculty and staff members creating a safe and supportive environment in the campus.
Functions
- Providing support services such as counseling, guidance, and advocacy for women students and staff facing issues such as harassment, discrimination, or personal challenges.
- Organizing workshops, seminars, and awareness campaigns on gender sensitization, women’s rights, laws related to women, and other relevant topics.
- Undertaking research and documentation on issues affecting women within the college context, contributing to knowledge creation and policy formulation.
- Organizing events to celebrate achievements of women in academics, sports, arts, and other fields, promoting visibility and recognition.
Term: The Women’s Cell shall be reconstituted every three years.
Meetings: Meetings of the Cell shall be held at least twice a year
