The Extension Activities Cell of SJCE has been created to carry out different extension activities of the college. The Cell organizes various and innovative programmes to create awareness and information about issues related to the Society.

Composition of the Committee:

• Faculty (2)
• Student Representative (2)

Objectives

• To arouse social consciousness of the students by providing them opportunities to work with and among the people.
• To develop an awareness and knowledge of social realities to have concern for the well-being of the community and engage in creative and constructive social action.

Functions

• To maintain cordial relationships between the college and the local community.
• To provide information about life skills, and human & constitutional ethics to the local community.
• To focus on women-related issues, and health issues.
• To conduct literacy awareness, and cleanliness drives.
• Exercising unity, integration and various cultural activities.
• Encouragement of community participation.
• Involving the faculties and students in the extension activities.

Term:The Extension Cell shall be reconstituted every three year.
Meetings: Meetings of the ExtensionCell shall be held at least twice a year.
