The Cultural Committee of SJCE College encourages the students to go beyond the barriers and prove their worth and talent to the Society. The Committee nurtures the student teachers to focus on their talents in a desired field and grow in confidence and the wings to fly high and go beyond their dreams. Students are given an opportunity to develop skills such as organizational, presentation, leadership and interpersonal communication. Our esteemed college has always bagged many achievements and has proved itself in every field possible in this locality.

Objectives

• To provide platform to students to exhibit their talents
• To enhance skills of the students.
• To promote a dynamic cultural heritage that is preserved, used and developed.
• To inculcate leadership and organizational qualities among students.

Functions

• The Cultural Committee shall be responsible for all Inter Collegiate cultural events in the college.
• To Plan and Schedule cultural events for the academic year.
• To obtain formal permission from the college authorities to arrange program and decide the date, time of the program.
• To inform members of staff and students about the events.
• To arrange mementos for guests and gifts/certificates for the participants.
• The committee shall display on the notice board about any function and competition.

Term: The Cultural Committee reconstituted every three years.
Meeting:The Cultural Committee assembles twice in a year.
